Printer-Friendly Version

Being healthy also means feeling happy. Sometimes, dealing with CF can make you feel sad. It's hard having to go to the doctor's more than your friends and having to take special care of yourself. Talking with your family about CF and asking lots of questions can help you learn more about it and help you understand all of the ways to stay as healthy as you can. The more you learn about CF, the more you can share with your friends when they ask you questions. Since other kids may not know what CF is all about, they may ask questions about how it makes you feel. Tell them all about it and explain how you can still play just like them and even eat fun snacks like pizza and ice cream more than other kids. Talking and playing with your friends and family is a great way to stay healthy and be happy!
