Nasal Polyp
Finger-like growths of skin inside the nose. Nasal polyps are common in patients with cystic fibrosis.

Nebulizer
A thing that helps CF patients breath in medicine. 

Pancreas
The part of our digestive system that makes the enzymes we need to digest food and absorb nutrients.  In CF patients, the pancreas doesn't work well, so they need to take pancreatic enzymes and follow a well balanced diet.

Pilocarpine Ionophoresis
This is the long, medical name for a sweat test.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa
This is a bacteria that most people with CF have.  It causes lung problems but it can be helped with medicines called antibiotics. 

Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
This is a test doctors use to see how well your lungs are working.
