Pancreatic Enzymes
Pancreatic enzyme supplements help reverse CF pancreas problems. The enzymes help to digest starches, fats, and proteins.

Vitamin Supplements
CF patients have trouble absorbing nutrients in food and need to take extra vitamins to stay strong and healthy.  In particular they need extra vitamin A, D, E and K.

High Fat, High Calorie Diet
Good nutrition is the most important thing.  CF patients need to eat more fat and more food than other people.  One great way to do this is be eating snacks!

Nutritional Supplements
Sometimes extra nutrition help is necessary.  CF patients can take nutrition supplements, or even have a tube deliver liquid food right into your belly.

Gastrointestinal Motility Agents
People with CF can sometimes get constipated, which means you can't go to the bathroom normally.  That can cause problems because your body needs to get rid of waste.  Medicines called laxatives and enemas can help.

Blood Glucose and Insulin Therapy
CF patients sometimes develop CF-related diabetes and need to take insulin.
