How do I participate in a chat?
Anyone is welcome to participate in our public chat sessions. Just visit the site ten minutes before or anytime during the chat and click on the “Join the Chat” button. A pop-up window will appear for you to log into the chat.

What do I need to participate in a chat?
A PC or Mac with Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. For optimum viewing you should be on a fast connection to the Internet – 112K or better (DSL, Cablemodem, T1, etc.).

Do I have to have a username and password to participate?
Unless otherwise noted, usernames and passwords are not required to participate. If you would like to choose your own nickname for the chat, just type the name into the username field and click on the “login” button.

Do I need to download anything to participate in chat?
No downloads are required to participate in the chat.

When I click on the link to participate in the chat, nothing happens?
This may occur if you have pop-up blocker installed. Please disable it before clicking on "Join the Chat."

How do I submit a question?
Type in your question in the space at the bottom of the chat window and press the “Enter” or “Return” key on your keyboard. Your question will be sent to the chat moderator who will then send it along to the speaker to answer.

Are transcripts from the chats available?
Yes, transcripts from chats will be made available after the live chat is held. Please visit the “Transcripts” page on our Chat section to access the transcript of a specific chat.
