Welcome to the CF Message Board! This Web site was created and developed as a means for CF patients and their families to talk to each other and to share their experiences in managing a particularly challenging and chronic condition. And what better way for patients and families to do that than through a message board?

Discover some new insights about treatment, research and managment of CF from patients and families just like you.

Start Message Board

Want to join our message board? It's easy.

  • Just log on and your password will take you to the appropriate message board group—kids, teens, or adults. Your password for the message board is the same as your password for the Member Families section. Once you log on, the message board defaults to the Index page, which lists categories of discussions and a menu of  links to "Add New Category," "Search," and "Logout."
  • To view the topics under each category, click on the link next to the Category folder icon.
  • To add a topic to a category, simply hit "Add a Topic."
  • To view the discussion on an existing topic select from the list of topics displayed.
  • Once you select a topic you may join the discussion by selecting the "Add Your Reply" button, which will give you the opportunity to fill out a form, your reply is posted when you click the "Submit" button. 
  • Add your own Category by selecting "Add New Category" from the menu bar.
  • Search the message board by selecting "Search" from the menu bar and search by keywords, categories or days.
  • Hit "Logout" when you're done.
  • We hope you find your discussions enjoyable and educational!
